For the unfamiliar, Caleb is the protagonist of the 1997 first-person shooter game Blood, a game that uses the same engine as the more widely-known Duke Nukem 3D, and shares a lot of the same style DNA. However, Blood makes its references more to horror movies and stories compared to Duke's action movies (hence this username), and is a bit more concerned with trying to make a cohesive, connecting storyline and world.
Canon Background
Caleb is a formerly high-ranking member of the Cabal, a cult to the god Tchernobog, "The One Who Binds" - the plot of the first game involves Tchernobog betraying his most loyal followers, The Chosen: Caleb, his girlfriend Ophelia, and his friends Ishmael and Gabriel. While the others are blatantly killed, it's less clear whether Caleb is or not. Either way, he wakes up after being cast aside, tearing a path through the Cabal to get revenge on Tchernobog.
Personality
He's a bit unhinged, to say the least, having a rather good time doing the whole murder thing through the Cabal, whether it's actual human cultists or monsters they've allied with, quick with bad jokes and one-liners, and singing little snippets of songs and showtunes. Seems to particularly enjoy blowing things up, as he tends to cackle madly on good use of explosives.
Appearance
Tall, reasonably well-built. Glowing solid red eyes. Messy, unkempt black hair. Dresses in a dark duster and hat, white shirt and brown pants underneath. Speaks in a particularly low and rough voice for the most part. Probably looks a little undead, given his uncertain state of existence, and that he even startles himself in-game via mirrors.
